HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 3795 ORDINANCE NO. 3795 AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF COMPETITIVE BIDDING AND AWARDING BID NO. 94-30, FOR CRS-II ASPHALT OIL TO KOCH MATERIALS CO. AND FOR SS-I ASPHALT TACK OIL TO MCCLINTON-ANCHOR, FOR USE IN THE IN-HOUSE OVERLAY PROGRAM . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS : Section 1 . The City Council hereby waives the requirements of competitive bidding for CRS-II asphalt oil and for SS-1 asphalt tack oil for the reason that said requirements are neither practical nor feasible since no bids were received on the initial bid 94-30. Further, such materials are required immediately to proceed with street paving projects. Section 2. That bid 94-30, CRS-II asphalt oil , is hereby awarded to Koch Materials Co. and SS-1 asphalt tack oil is hereby awarded to McClinton-Anchor. PASSED AND APPROVED this 17th day of May 1994.
