AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF
FORMAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF
LIGHTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LIGHTS OF THE OZARKS
FESTIVAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That the City Council hereby waives the requirements of formal
competitive bidding for the purchase of lights to participate in the Lights of the Ozarks Festival.
Such requirements are neither feasible nor practical as the standardization of lighting is necessary
for participation in the Lights of the Ozarks Festival .
