HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 3716 ORDINANCE NO. 3716 J AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 160. 156(C)(2) , 160. 172(C) AND 160.085(G) OF THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO CHANGE THE SIZE REQUIREMENT FOR NOTIFICATION SIGNS FOR REZONINGS, VARIANCES, AND CONDITIONAL USES FROM 18 INCHES HIGH BY 30 INCHES WIDE, OR LARGER, TO 18 INCHES HIGH BY 24 INCHES WIDE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That Section 160. 156(C)(2) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances shall be repealed and the following inserted in its stead: § 160. 156 AMENDMENT PROCEDURE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES . (C) (2) Posting a sign or signs, each 18 inches high by 24 inches wide, at conspicuous places in the area involved, 15 days prior to the date of the public hearing also giving such notice. Section 2 . That Section 160. 172(C) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances shall be repealed and the following inserted in its stead: § 160. 172 HEARINGS; APPEALS; NOTICE. (C) A sign 18 inches high and 24 inches wide also giving such notice, shall be placed upon the property by the Building Inspector seven days before the date of the public hearing. The Council shall also give notice of such hearing to interested persons and organizations as it deems feasible and practicable. Section 3 . That Section 160.085(G) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances shall be repealed and the following inserted in its stead: § 160.085(G) HOME OCCUPATIONS . (G) Upon receipt of an application for a conditional use permit for a home occupation in an R- 1 District, the Planning Administrator shall cause to be posted on the property a sign 18 inches high and 24 inches wide, which sign shall state that a conditional use permit application for a home occupation has been filed, and the date and time when the Planning Commission will consider the application. Said sign shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the property .
