AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK 30 OF THE ORIGINAL
TOWN PLAT OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE AND A
PORTION OF BLOCK 15 OF SAID ORIGINAL TOWN PLAT.
WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors by Ordinance No. 2578 vacated and abandoned
an alley easement over the same described real property, and;
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2578 expressly reserves a utility easement over said property
and;
WHEREAS, it has been determined that said utility easement is not required for
corporate purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The City Council hereby vacates and abandons all of the City's rights,
together with the rights of the public generally in and to a certain utility easement in Block 30
of the original town plat of the City of Fayetteville and a portion of Block 15 of said original
town plat as more fully set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in
the office of the Recorder of the county and recorded in the deed records of the county.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
A part of Block 30 of the Original Town Plat of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast
corner of Lot 11 ; thence North 159.90 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 8;
thence East 10.07 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 15; thence South 159. 88 feet
to the Southwest corner of Lot 12; thence West 10. 10 feet to the point of
beginning.
ALSO :
A part of Block 15 Original Town, now City of Fayetteville, more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at a point which is N 025 '42" W 95 . 38 feet
from the Southwest corner of Block 15 in the Original Town, now City of
Fayetteville, said point being on the South line of an East, West alley; thence East
along the South side of said alley 155 .50 feet; thence N 5041 '01 " E 10.05 feet
to the North side of said alley; thence West along the North side of said alley
156.57 feet; thence S 0"25 '42" E 10.0 feet to the point of beginning, and
containing 0.04 acres, more or less.
