USED MULTI PASSENGER BUS EQUIPMENT FOR USE IN
THE YOUTH CENTER TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY HE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF HE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The Board of Directors hereby waives the
requirements of formal competitive bidding for the purchase of used
multi passenger bus equipment for use in the Youth Center
Transportation Program for the reason that said requirements are
not practical as Dealers will not hold used vehicles for the time
necessary to take and award formal competitive bids .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the
purchase of used bus equipment "on the spot " at a total cost not to
exceed $ 41 , 500 . 00 .
Section 3 . The number of vehicles involved in this
Q purchase will be a minimum of 3 units of varying capacities .
Capacity requirements for each vehicle shall be agreed upon by the
committee as listed in Section 4 .
Section 4 , The Board of; Directors hereby authorizes a
committee formed of the following., members .to -. evaluate , compare • and
finalize said purchase upon unanimous approval- : •,
