COMPETITIVE BIDDING AND AWARDING A CONTRACT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $ 14 , 058 , 00 TO ROCKWELL
INTERNATIONAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN UPGRADE
FOR SIX ( 6 ) HAND-HELD METER READING DEVICES ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETPEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The Board of Directors hereby waives the
requirements of competitive bidding for a ;%contract in the amount of
$ 14 , 058 , 00 to Rockwell international` for', six,; (16.) ,hand-held meter

our existing computer Yequipment, . .and, meter reading
software . a
( c ) All of the City ' s water meters are Rockwell meters
and these devices are specifically designed to read
Rockwell meters ,
( d ) The City ' s meter reading software is already set up
to operate with the City ' s utility billing software .
