AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 5 FOOT
STRIP OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ALONG THE
WESTERN PORTION OF GREGG STREET , SOUTH OF
DICKSON ,
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has the authority under
A . C . A . § 14- 54- 104 to vacate portions of streets and alleys which
are not required for corporate purposes and ,
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the
platted street right-of-way located long the western portion of
Gregg Street , south of Dickson , is not required for corporate
purposes .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETPEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby vacates and
abandons a 5 foot strip of street right-of-way located along the
western portion of Gregg Street , south of Dickson , running along
the property of Richard and Betty Shewmaker , as more fully set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof .
Section 2 . A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of the
county and recorded in the deed records of the county .
