VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT UNDERCOVERDRUG END ALL

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :

Section 1 , The Board of Directors hereby waives the
V requirements of competitive bidding for purchase of used vehicles
for the Police Department ' s Undercover Drug Enforcement Program
v during the next twelve months for the reason that said requirements
J are not feasible or practical as used car lots will not hold cars
for purchase for the amount of time that is required by the bid
process .
Section 2 . That the Police Department are hereby
author zed' ' toAiise the existing undercover vehicles for trade- in
value ,to, replacdment vehicles .
