AT A COST OF $ 10 , 480 . 00 AND DEC AN i EMERGENCY . ,t' ,y y� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CI FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 , The Board of Directors hereby waives the requirement of competitive bidding for the purchase of a Moyno Pipeliner Sludge Grinder with spare parts from Robins & Myers , Inc . for the reason that said requirements are not practical in that a like unit is currently in use at the Pollution Control Plant and the purchase of an identical unit will provide standardization , reducing the quantity of stock repair parts and maintence training . Q In addition Robins & Myers , Inc . is the sole supplier of said V equipment . LL O Section 2 , The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the 7 purchase of a Moyno Pipeliner Sludge Grinder with spare parts from Robins & Myers , Inc . at a cost of $ 10 , 480 . 00 . Section 3 , The Board of Directors hereby determines that the immediate purchase of a sludge grinder is necessary for the City to provide a safe and sanitary public works service and that the provision of efficient safe and sanitary public works services is essential to the public health , safety , and welfare . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public health , safety , and welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
