AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
NORTH/ SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED SOUTH OFF OF
DICKSON , AND EAST OF THE 1ST SOUTH PROPERTY '
TO THE PROPERTY LINE OF THE MEDARK BUILDING
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COUNTY PARKING
FACILITY .
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has the authority under
A . C . A . § 14 - 54 - 104 to vacate portions of streets and alleys which
are not required for corporate purposes ana,,
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the
north/ south alley located south off of Dickson , and east of the
1st South Property ' to the property line of the Medark Building
is not required for corporate purposes .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby vacates and
abandons , subject to the reservation of a public utility easement
in and to the property , the north/ south alley located South off of
Dickson , and east of the 1st South property ' to the property line
of the Medark Building for the construction of a county parking
Eacility , as more fully set forth in Exhibit " A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof .
Section 2 . A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be in the office of the recorder of the county
and recorded in the deed records of the county .
