ORDINANCE NO . 3478
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SETTING OF WATER
RATES FOR CONSUMERS THAT PURCHASE WATER FOR
FILL- TRUCKS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That setting of water rates for consumers that
purchase water for the purpose of filling water tanks on
commercial trucks shall be as follows :
0 - 1 , 000 gallons : a minimum of $ 5 . 00 ( $ 3 . 50 labor +
$ 1 . 50 water / tax )
�7 2 , 000 gallons + : an additional $ 1 . 50 per 1 , 000 gallons
Rates are charged upon a per trip basis . The initial
v-j labor charge shall be paid upon each arrival at the fill
site .
