WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has the authority under Ark . Code Ann . § 14 - 54 - 104 ( 1987 ) to vacate portions of streets which are not required for corporate purposes ; and WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the following described portion of the street right - of -way of Lester Street containing 89 square feet , more or less , is a platted but unopened street which is not required for corporate purposes . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THEa CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas hereby vacates and abandons all of its rights together with the rights of the public generally , subject to the existing utility easements and sewer easements as required in and to the ( following ) described property located in Washington County , Arkansas : Beginning at a point N 890 59 ' 58 " E , 43 . 5 feet from the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of Block 6 , Country Club Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Washington County , Arkansas ; thence N 890 59158 " E , 34 feet ; thence N 80 ° 31 ' 13 " W , 33 . 53 feet ; thence S 90 30 ' W , 5 . 6 feet to the point of beginning and containing 93 . 89 square feet .
