COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR THE PURCHASEAggloaWMER
EQUIPMENT FOR ONE YEAR , MICROFILMED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
§1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the require -
ments of competitive bidding for the purchase of radio equipment
for one year for the reason that said requirements are not
feasible because there is only one supplier capable of meeting the
specifications .
§2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that the City
is in immediate need of additional radio equipment and hereby
determines that the immediate passage of this ordinance is
necessary for the purchase of such equipment . Therefore , an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being
necessary for the public welfare shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval .
