AN ORDINANCE CONFIRMING ORDINANCE NO . 3299 OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , ADOPTED MICROFILMED
AND APPROVED OCTOBER 20 , 1987 ; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY ,
WHEREAS , Ordinance No . 3299 of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas was adopted and approved on October 20 , 1987 , authorizing
the City ' s Industrial Development Revenue Bonds , Series 1987
( Amcast Industrial Corporation Project ) ( the " Bonds " ) , and
subsequent thereto , on November 3 , 1987 , a public hearing ( the
" Hearing" ) was held with respect to issuance of the Bonds ,
pursuant to notice duly published ; and
WHEREAS , no one expressed objection at the Hearing to
issuance of the Bonds ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Ordinance No . 3299 , adopted and approved
October 20 , 1987 , is hereby confirmed .
Section 2 . As the industrial project to be financed by
the Bonds will provide employment and other economic benefits to
the City and its inhabitants , it is important that it proceed to
completion without delay . Therefore , an emergency is declared to
exist and this Ordinance , being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace , health and safety , shall take effect upon its
passage and approval .
