AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17B- 6 ( c ) OF THE
FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AMEND THE RCROFILMEb
CITY ' S REAL ESTATE SIGN REGULATIONS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Section 17B - 6 ( c ) of the Fayetteville Code
of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows :
( c ) Real Estate Signs . On a lot in any district , there
may be erected one on- site unanimated real estate sign ;
provided , when a lot is listed simultaneously with two
real estate firms , one such sign per firm shall be
permitted . Provided further , such signs shall be
limited to wall signs , freestanding signs or platform
signs ; and , freestanding signs or platform signs shall
be set back a minimum of ten feet ( 10 ' ) from the street .
The permitted illumination and maximum display*sudace

Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
effective sign regulation is necessary for the public welfare and
hereby determines that the immediate passage of this ordinance is
necessary for effective sign regulation . Therefore , an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for
the public welfare shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage approval .
