t AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS
COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR MOVING AND STORAGE
SERVICES FOR THE NEW CITY MANAGER .
c� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
\� Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the
O1 requirements of . competitive bidding for moving and storage
J services for the new City Manager because said requirements are
not feasible due to the difference in available storage facili -
ties .
Section 2 . That the Board of ' Directors hereby awards the
bid for said moving and storage services to Admiral Moving
Services , Inc . , 664 W Ash , Fayetteville , Arkansas at a total price
of $ 5 , 751 . 29 .
Section 3 . That the Board of Directors hereby determines
that immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary for the new
City Manager to begin work . Therefore , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the
public welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 1st day of September , 1987 .
