BE IT ORDAIINM BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MY OF FAYEITMUE, ` t ERK

Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the
1, requirements of competitive bidding for the purchase of a rear loader
�l sanitation truck for the reason that said requirements are not practical
because the City is in immediate need of such a truck to provide adequate
sanitation service to the public .

Section 2 . That the Board of Directors hereby determines
that the City is in immediate need of a rear-loader sanitation truck
to provide adequate sanitation service to the public ; that provision
of adequate sanitation service is essential to the public health ,
safety and welfare ; and that the immediate passage of this ordinance
is necessary to enable the immediate purchase of a rear-loader sanitation
truck . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance being necessary for the public health, safety and welfare
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
PASSED AMID APPROVED this 17 day of March , 1987 .
