AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 OF THE FAYEITEVILLE
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ABOLISH THE CITY ' S ELECTRICAL
EXAMINING BOARD AND TO CREATE AN ELECTRICAL ADVISORY
BOARD.
BE IT ORDAIldED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILIEr
ARRAPSAS:
Section 1 . That § 8-6 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended in the following respects :
�J ( a ) The heading of §8-6 is hereby amended to read as follows :
Sec . 8-6 . Electrical Advisory Board .
( b ) The first sentence in §8-6 is hereby amended to read as
follows :
An Electrical Advisory Board is hereby created to act in
an advisory capacity to the Inspection Department and to
perform other related duties as may be required by the electrical
code of the City .
( c ) Subparagraphs ( a ) ( 1 ) a and b and (a ) ( 2) a and b are hereby
amended by changing the phrase "City - licensed" to "City
or State - licensed " .
( d ) Paragraph ( d ) is hereby deleted .
Section 2 . That § 8-7 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby deleted .
Section 3 . That § 8-14 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended in the following respects :
(a ) The heading is hereby amended to read as follows :
Sec . 8-14 . License Fees .
( b ) Subparagraph ( 1 ) is hereby amended by deleting the following :
Examination fee for master electrician license - $ 10 . 00
Examination fee for journeyman electrician license - $3 . 00

(c ) Subparagraph ( 2 ) is hereby deleted and Subparagraphs ( 3 )
and ( 4 ) are hereby renumbered ( 2 ) and ( 3 ) .
Section 4 . That §8-15 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended by deleting Paragraph ( 1 ) and by renumbering Paragraphs
( 2 ) and ( 3 ) as Paragraphs ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) .
