CIRCUITLCMERK R BE TT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRHC7WRS OF THE CITY OF FAYEITEVII.LE, ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That Section 17B-11 ( 1 ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by amending the second sentence in said section to read as follows : where a building houses more than one business , wall signs shall be limited in number to one wall sign per business on each wall y` with a limit of four wall signs per business per building ; where U a building houses only one business , a maximum of four wall signs n may be placed on one wall but no more than four wall signs may be placed on the building . V o Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that adequate i regulation of wall signs is essential to preserving traffic safety and aesthetics and hereby determines that the immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary for the adequate regulation of wall signs . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance (o being necessary for the public health , safety and welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and approval .
