AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF COMPETITIVE
BIDDING TO RE-ROOF THE WHITE HANGAR AT DRAKE FIELD.
BE IT =WINED BY THE BOARD OF DDWTCIRS OF THE CITY OF FAYErfMLLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the
requirements of competitive bidding to re-roof the white hangar at
Drake Field for the reason that said requirements are not practical
because the existing roof is a safety hazard needing immediate repair .
Section 20 That the Board of Directors hereby determines
that the existing roof on the white hangar at Drake Field is a safety
hazard in need of immediate repair and hereby determines that the
immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary to enable said repair .
Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance
being necessary for the public health , safety and welfare shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 18th day of June , 1986 .
