That §21-28 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by amending the second sentence to read as follows : Water bills are due and payable on or before the 20th day following the billing date stated on the water bill . Section 2 . That §21-28 . 1 ( 1 ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by amending the first two sentences to read as follows : ( 1 ) In the event that bills due the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas for water service are not paid on or before the 20th day following the billing date stated on the water bill , notice by mail will be sent to each customer concerned advising him that such bill is due and payable immediately . Should any delinquent bill remain unpaid , service will be discontinued on the 28th day following the billing date stated on the water bill , and the customer ' s deposit will be forfeited in an amount sufficient to cover the gross amount of his due bill . Section 3 . That §21-29 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by amending the second sentence to read as follows : Sewer bills are due and payable on or before the 20th day following the billing dated stated on the sewer bill .
