AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 17 OF APPENDIX A
TO THE FAYEITEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AMEND
THE DEFINITION OF OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE .
JBE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DHWICRS OF THE CITY OF FAYErrwrLLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That the definition of "parking space , off-street"
in Article 17 of Appendix A to the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended by amending the second sentence in said definition
to read as follows :
Required off -street parking areas for, three ( 3 ) or more
automobiles shall have individual spaces marked , and shall
be so designed , maintained and regulated that no parking
or maneuvering incidental to parking shall be on any public
street or walk , and so that any automobile may be parked
and unparked without moving another automobile ; provided ,
parking spaces for duplexes and single family homes with
a joint driveway centered on the property line may be designed
so that no more than four ( 4 ) parking spaces back into a
public street .
