AN ORDINANCE AMENDING §18-31 (a ) OF THE FAYETTEVILLE elk
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE THAT THE CITY MANAGER
OR HIS DESIGNEE MAY GIVE A PROPERTY OWNER NOTICE
TO CONSTRUCT A SIDEWALK .
BE TT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECMRS OF THE CITY OF FAVETTEVILTE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That § 18-31 ( a ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended by amending the first sentence to read as follows :
(a ) The owners of any property abutting a public street
/ or highway for which a sidewalk is shown on the City ' s master
sidewalk plan shall construct a sidewalk along said street
or highway within three months from receipt of notice from
Ithe City Manager or his designee .
