ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . That §6-69 ( c ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended to read as follows :
( c ) Any permit issued shall became invalid unless the work
authorized by it shall have been commenced within six months
after its issuance ; and , any permit shall became invalid
if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned
for a period of six months after the time the work is commenced .
If the terms of this section are otherwise complied with ,
any permit shall be valid for the periods specified below :

Greater than $1 , 500 , 001 24 months
Extensions of time , for periods of time not exceeding
three months each , may be alloyed in writing by the building
official upon the payment of the following fees :
First extension $5 . 00
Second extension $50 . 00
Third extension $100 . 00
Fourth and subsequent extensions $250 . 00
