AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20-21 OF THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE
OF ORDINANCES TO PRESCRIBE LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR
TAXICAB OPERATORS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYMEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That § 20-21 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended to read as follows :
Sec . 20-21 . Liability Insurance ,
No certificate of public convenience and necessity shall
be issued or continued in operation unless there is in full force
and effect '• automobile • liability insurance for each vehicle .
Said insurance ,shall have , limits• of not less than $ 25 , 000 . 00
for personal injury r_o , or death; oE , any one person in any one
accident , and liability liinits of $50 , 000 . 00 for personal injury
to•; ' or death bf ,.' two, or more persons in any one accident , and
$ 15 ; 000 . 00 fo'r injury' to or destruction of property of others
in ' any one ' accident : Said ' .insurance shall be maintained with
an' • ' insuran :e 1 company ' authorized to do business in the State of
Arkansas. 'A ' certificate evidencing- such insurance shall be filed
with the Finance - .Director .
