AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CELE^6, SECTION 3 ( B ) OF APPENDIX A TO
THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADD PUBLIC UTILITY MAINTE-
NANCE BUILDING, WAREHOUSE , OR STORAGE BUILDING AS AN INCLUDED

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ✓
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Article 6 , Section 3 ( B ) of Appendix A to the
Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding the following :
Public utility maintenance building , warehouse , or storage building .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the City ' s zoning ordinance does not adequately regulate the location
of public utility maintenance buildings , warehouse and storage buildings ;
that adequate regulation of such structures is necessary for the public
health , safety and welfare ; and , that the immediate passage of this
ordinance is necessary to accomplish such regulation .
THEREFORE , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance , being necessary for the public health , safety and welfare ,
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of September , 1984 .
