TABLE FOR THE RENOVATED CITY ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGLRCIjIr - GMK o C ~ rr BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILIE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the requirements of competitive bidding for the purchase of appliances , lateral files , data processing furnishings and audience benches , judge 's bench , and directors ' table for the renovated City Administration Building for the reason that said requirements are not practical because the City is in immediate need of said items to facilitate the efficient adminis - tration of City government . Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that the renovated City Administration Building is in immediate need of the aforesaid items to facilitate the efficient administration of City government ; that efficient administration of City government is essential LTJ to the public welfare ; and that the immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary for the efficient administration of City government . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
