WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has the authority under Ark . Stat . § 19 - 2304 to vacate portions of alleys which are not required for corporate purposes ; and WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the following described portion of a 10 foot alley between Lots 13 - 14 and 12 - 15 in Dows Addition West of Government Road is a platted but unopened alley street which is not required for corporate purposes . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , hereby releases , vacates , and abandons all of its rights together with the rights of the public generally in and to following described property : Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 13 in Dowell Addition to the City of Fayetteville , y, Arkansas , as per plat of said addition on file in @� the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- Officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas ; thence South along, the Eastern boundary of Lcts 13 and 14 in said addition to the Southwest corner of Lot 14 ; thence , Fast 10 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 15 in said addition ; thence North along the Western boundary of Lots 15 and 12 in said addition to the Northwest corner of said Lot 12 ; thence West 10 feet to the point of beginning .
