AN ORDINANCE AMENDIMPOTHE READTES FOR PARKING IN THE
CITY PARKING GARAGE ON MEADOW STREET .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 : That Section 19 - 190 . 1 (b ) of the Fayetteville
Code o Or inances is hereby amended to read - as follows :
(b ) The following charges shall be made for the parking
of automobiles on the first two levels of the City u;
parking garage on Meadow Street : n �,
0 to 1 hour : $ . 50 o
1 to 2 hours : $ 75 c o T
2 to 3. - hours : $ 1 . 00 = m m
3 to 10 hours : $ 1 . 50 = a o

1J 10 to 24 hours: $ 2 . 00
l Second level , by the month : $ 25 . 00 _

The following 'charges shall be made for the parking of
automobiles on the xhird' ievel of the City parking garage on
Meadow Street :
0 toil hour : $ . 25
1. 1 to 2 hours : $ . 50
2 to 3 hours : $ . 75
3 to 10 hours : $ 1 . 00
10 to 24 hours : $ . 1 . 50
Third level , by the month : $20 : 00
Section 2 : The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the a egquaterregulation of motor vehicle parking in the downtown
area is essential to the public health , safety and welfare ; that
an increase in the rates charged for the parking of motor vehicles
in the City ' s parking garage on Meadow Street is essential to the
adequate regulation of parking in the downtown area ; and hereby
determines that the immediate passage of this ordinance is
necessary to increase said rates . Therefore , an emergency is
hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance being necessary for
the public health , safety and welfare shall be in full force and
effect from and after its .passage and approval . ® { �fl 223
