CI ; CU T CLERK WHEREAS , Helen G . Adams is the owner of the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof ; and WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the buildings located on said property are dilapidated , unsitely , unsafe , irreparable and detrimental to the public welfare ; and WHEREAS , the owner of the aforesaid property , after having been given well over thirty days ' notice to do so , has neglected and refused to raze and remove said delapidated , unsitely and unsafe buildings . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That Helen G . Adams is hereby ordered to raze an remove the dilapidated , unsitely , unsafe , and irreparable buildings located on the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof . Said work shall be done within thirty days from the effective date of this ordinance . Section 2 . That the City Attorney is hereby directed to inst3. tute such legal proceedings as may be necessary in order to enforce the provisions of this ordinance , and to remedy the dangerous and unsitely conditions existing on the aforesaid property . Said legal proceedings shall provide that unless the aforesaid buildings are razed within a certain period specified by the court , the City of Fayetteville shall be authorized to raze said buildings and have a lien upon the real estate for the cost of razing and removing the buildings . Section 3 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that tt ei�oresaid unsitely and unsafe buildings constitute a continuing detriment to the public welfare and determines that unless the provisions of this ordinance are put into effect immediately , the public health , safety and welfare of the people of Fayetteville will be adversely affected . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
