BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Sec . 13 - 8 . 1 of the Fayetteville Code
of Or inaa nces is hereby amended by deleting paragraph (b ) ( 1 ) .
Section 2 . That Sec . 13 - 8 . 1 of the Fayetteville Code
of Or ina�is hereby amended by renumbering paragraphs
(b ) ( 2 ) 2 ( 3 ) , (4 ) , ( 5 ) , and ( 6 ) , as paragraphs (b ) ( 1 ) , ( 2 ) ,
( 3 ) , ( 4) , and ( 5 ) , respectively .
Section 3 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that epi e regulation of excessive noise is essential
to the public health , safety and welfare ; determines that
the City ' s existing noise ordinance does not effectively
regulate excessive noise ; and determines that the immediate
passage of this ordinance is necessary for the effective
regulation of excessive noise . Therefore , an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary
for the public welfare shall be in full force and effective
immediately from and after its passage and approval .
