AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIRU1ENTS' OF COMPEIIMII: BIDS FOR C R` Rif
THE PURCHASE OF A LINE KING TRENCH CL= FOR THE PARKS
DEPARUIM .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives
the requT nts of competitive bids for the purchase of one
Line King Striper for the Parks Department for the reason that
said requirements are not feasible because there is only one
supplier of said equipment .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the
purchase�e Lion King Trench Digger from Gustafson
Manufacturing Company at a total price of $ 2 , 500 . 15 .
Section 3 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that ETPars Department is in immediate need of a Line King
Striper in order to provide adequate recreational facilities
to the public ; that the provision of adequate recreation
facilities to the public is essential to the public welfare ;
and that the immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary
to enable the purchase of said equipment . Therefore , an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this . ordinance being
necessary for the public welfare shall be in full force and
effect from and after its nassage and approval .
