AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING STATIONARY AIRCRAFT F1N {9FtTy
RUN -UP TESTING OPERATIONS BETWEEN THE HOURS O 61.,
AND 6 : 00 A . M . AT THE FAYETTEVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . It shall be unlawful for the owner , lessee ,
e} or operates any airplane to perform stationary aircraft
engine run- rup testing, operations at the Fayetteville Municipal
Airport ( Drake Field) between` the hours of 11 : 00 p . m . and
6 : 00 a . m . on any day .
Section 2. . Any person convicted of violating Section 1
above sTiabe punished by a fine of not more than 8500 . 00
or double that . sum . for, each repetition of such offense .
Section 3 . . LThis ordinance - shall become effective
Septem er 983 ; .provided , ,_ this ordinance shall be of no force
orieffect if on . September 7 , 1983 the construction of a noise
barrier for stationary aircraft engine run- up testing at the
Fayetteville Municipal Airport (Drake Field) has been com-
pleted .
