AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO . 28� 0 �+ �y

AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR AN UNSAFE STRUCiF,p9fQ�
LOCATED AT 987 SOUTH WASHINGTON AVENUE TO PROVIDE FOR
THE IMMEDIATE RAZING OF SAID STRUCTURE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No . 2820 is
hereby amed by deleting the last sentence in said section ,
which sentence read as follows : " Said work shall be done
within thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this
ordinance . "
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that t epi unsaFe structure at 987 South Washington Avenue
constitutes a continuing detriment to the public welfare and
determines that unless the provisions of this ordinance are
put into effect immediately , the public health , safety and
welfare of the people of Fayetteville will be adversely
affected . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public
welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval .
