ODE OF ORDINANCES NG CHAPTER 13 0
TO ADD SECTION 13 - 13 AUTHORIZING �iTCC�FVTy
CITY FIRE INSPECTORS TO ISSUE CITATIONS FOR VIOLATIONS
OF FIRE PROTECTION STATUTES AND ORDINANCES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 13 of the Fayetteville Code of
Ordinances is hereby amended by adding Section 13 - 13 to read
as follows :
Sec . 13 - 13 . Fire Inspectors authorized to
issue citations .
Any fireman designated by the Fire Chief as a
Fire Inspector shall be authorized to issue a
citation to any person violating any provision
of the State Fire Code or any Fire Protection
Ordinance of the City of Fayetteville in the
presence of said Inspector .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that eeT eco enforcement of the State Fire Code and of
City Fire Protection Ordinances requires that Fire Inspectors
have the authority to issue citations ; and that the immediate
passage of this ordinance is necessary for said Inspectors
to have such authority . Therefore , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the
public health , safety , and welfare shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval .
