AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE FAYETTEVILLEre"-)4 jf
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AMEND THE PARKING RATES FOR ON-
STREET AND OFF - STREET PARKING : TO AMEND THE PENALTY
FOR OVERTIME PARKING ; AND TO AUTHORIZE THE IMPOUNDMENT
AND TOWING OF ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . Effective January 1 , 1982 , § 19 - 127 ( c ) of
the Faye�le Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows :
( c ) ( 1 ) The penalty for each violation of this section
shall be two dollars ( $ 2 . 00 ) ; provided , the penalty
for each violation of this section in excess of five ,
ql but under eleven , in any calendar month , shall be a
�tj minimum of twenty

( 1 ) The parking rate for metered parking spaces shall
be ten cents ( $ . 10 ) per hour .
( 2 ) For gated off- street parking lots , the gate entrance
fee shall be fifty cents ( $ . 50 ) . The monthly parking
rate for the gated off - street parking lots shall be
twenty dollars ( $ 20 . 00 ) per month .
Section 5 . Effective January 1 , 1982 , the last paragraph
in § 1Tlo ff the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby
amended to read as follows :
The penalty for each violation of this section shall
be two dollars ( $ 2 . 00 ) if paid before the issuance of
a summons , citation , or arrest warrant ; otherwise , the
penalty for each violation of this section shall be five
dollars ( $ 5 . 00 ) .
