BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Sec . 2 of Ordinance No . 2531 is hereby
amended to read as follows :
Sec . 2 . The Telephone Company shall pay to the
City a sum of $ 111 , 000 . 00 per annum payable in equal
quarterly installments with payments becoming due on
or before March 31 , June 30 , September 30 , and
December 31 of each year .
Section 2 . That this ordinance shall be effective thirty
( 30 ) aye sir the date of publication by the Washington County
Court of the proclamation declaring the results of the election
on a county sales tax held July 28 , 1981 ; provided , in the event
of an election challenge the effective date of this ordinance
shall be the first day of the first calendar month subsequent
to the final judicial determination of the challenge .
