AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO , 1 OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , parties claiming to be the owners of two-
thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
V\� territory hereinafter described have filed a Petition praying
that an Improvement District be established for the purpose
hereinafter set out ; and
WHEREAS , after due notice as required by law , the Board
of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , has heard
all parties desiring to be heard and has ascertained that said
Petition was signed by two- thirds in assessed value of the
owners of real property within said territory .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . There is hereby established a Central Business
Improvement District embracing the following property :
The following Lots and Blocks on the original plat of
the Town (now City ) of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as per
plat on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and
Ex-Officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas :
Lots 1 and 2 , Block 32 ; Lots 1 , 21 31 8 , 9 and 10 ,
Block 31 ; Block 30 ; Lots 7 , 80 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 and 13 ,
Block 28 ; Lot 7 , Block 26 ; and Block 16 ; ALSO , Lots A .
B , Cr D , E and F in Lipsey ' s Subdivision , being Lots 8
and 9 . Block 29 on the original plat of the Town
(now City ). of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as per plat on
file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio
Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas .
for the purpose of acquiring , constructing , installing , operating ,
maintaining and financing shopping malls , offices , and parking
lots or parking garages within the District ( specifically
in Block 30 of the original plat of the Town ( now City ) of
Fayetteville )_ in the manner and of the materials that the
Commissioners of the District shall deem for the best interest
of the District .
Section 2 . Said District shall be known as Central Business
Improvment District No . 1 of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .

Section 3 . A . D . McAllister , Jr . , Pearl Clinehens ,
W . W . Bassett , Jr . , Dale Christy , and Truman Yancey , are
hereby named Commissioners , who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said District .
