AN ORDINANCE WAIVING COMPETITIVE BID REI�', W )F
THE PURCHASE OF ONE OMNI ACOUSTICAL SHE 9.
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT . TN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : MICROFILMED
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives
competitive bid requirements for the purchase of one Omni
Acoustical Shell for the Parks and Recreation Department
because competitive bidding is not feasible as there is only
one supplier meeting specifications .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the Parks and Recreation Department is in immediate need of one
Omni Acoustical Shell ; that the immediate purchase of said
equipment is necessary for the public welfare ; and that the
passage of this ordinance is necessary for the immediate pur-
chase of said equipment . Therefore , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist , and this ordinance being necessary for
the public welfare shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage .
