BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARDOF DIRECTORS OF THE
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : C�`'fi -P ER �)
Section 1 . That the second paragraph in Section 10 - 2 '� 9�f
of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows :
In the event that commercial establishments require
bulk pickup service of cartons , crates , baskets or any
other rubbish not placed in 32 gallon capacity cans ,
the rate for such bulk pickup service shall be $ . 40 per
minute required per pickup .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that the present rates for sanitation service are insufficient
to enable the City to provide adequate sanitation service ;
that the provision of adequate sanitation service is essential
to the public welfare ; and that the immediate passage of
this ordinance is necessary for the City to provide adequate
sanitation service . Therefore , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist , and this ordinance being necessary for
the public welfare shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval .
