BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THECCW�7 (SFLR �
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives
the requirements of competitive bidding for the purchase of
the playground equipment described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof for the reason that said
playground equipment is patented and there is only one - ,•
supplier thereof .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that Happy Hollow Playground is in immediate need of the
playground equipment described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto ; that the immediate purchase of said equipment is
necessary for the public welfare ; and that the passage of
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate purchase of
said equipment . Therefore an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public
welfare shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval . //DD
