AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A TO THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO INCLUDE BARBER AND BEAUTY SHOPS AS A PERMITTED
USE IN THE R- O , RESIDENTIAL OFFICE , ZONING DISTRICT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Article 6 , Section XII ( B ) of Appei4lix5 I=-
A to the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amend tsy aWding

Barber and Beauty Shops with more than 4 chairs .
Section 3 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that the
City ' s zoning regulations do not adequately regulate the location
of barber and beauty shops ; that adequate regulation of such shops
is essential to the public welfare ; and that the passage of this
ordinance is necessary to adequately regulate such shops . There -
fore , an emergency is hereby declared , and this ordinance being
necessary for the public welfare shall be in full force and
effect after its passage and approval .
