BIDDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF OXYGENATION EQUIPMEkL`iAXr -- �

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the
requirements of competitive bidding for the installtion of oxygenation
equipment at the Fayetteville pollution control Plant because
said requirements are not feasible for the reason that said
installation is needed immediately to safeguard the public health ,
safety , and welfare .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the installation of oxygenation equipment at the Pollution
Control Plant is needed immediately to safeguard the public
health , safety , and welfare , and that the passage of this
ordinance is necessary to enable said immediate installation of
oxygenation equipment . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared
to exist , and this ordinance being necessary for the public health
safety , and welfare shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval .
