Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 2539 ORDINANCE NO . 2539 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX C TO THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO AMEND THE FEES PAYABLE FOR APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION PLATS , LOT SPLITS , AND LARGE SCALE DEVELOPMENTS , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That Appendix C , Article II , Section E of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows : When the subdivider submits a plat or lot split application to the planningadministrator he shall remit the following fees : Concept proposal for subdivision plat - $ 30 . 00 Preliminary plat - $ 50 . 00 Informal plat - $ 50 . 00 Lot split application - $ 15 . 00 Final plat - $ 50 . 00 Section 2 . That Appendix C , Article IV , Section I of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding paragraph ( 9 ) to read as follows : (9 ) FEE . The developer shall be required to pay a filing fee of $ 45 . 00 to cover the cost of expenses incurred in connection with processing the large scale development . Section 3 . That the final paragraph in Appendix C , Article IV , Section A of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows : Upon the waiver of the preliminary and final plat requirements as aforesaid , the planning administrator shall prepare and file notice in the circuit clerk ' s office that a waiver of plat requirement has been granted . In the case of a first or second waiver said notice shall further state that future subdivision of said parcel may require conformity with the provisions of this ordinance . In the case of a third waiver said notice shall further state that future subdivision of said parcel will require conformity with the provisions of this ordinance . Section 4 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that the fees presently charged to approve subdivision plats , lot splits and large scale developments are insufficient to defray the necessary administrative costs ; that said inadequate fees hinder the effective administration of the City ' s subdivision ordinance ; and that effective administration of the City ' s subdivision ordinance is necessary for the public health , safety , MICROFILMED i a 1919 DATE � REEL�� and welfare .
