AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF C04 '% 7ItyiFDING
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FAYETTEVILL I QLEti��F4ph.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby waives the
requirements of competitive bidding for the construction of
improvements to the Fayetteville Pollution Control Plant for
the reason that said requirements are not feasible because the
construction of said improvements are needed immediately to
safeguard the public health , safety and welfare .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the Fayetteville Pollution Control Plant is in need of immediate
improvements to protect the public health , safety and welfare ,
and that the passage of this ordinance is necessary to provide
said improvements . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public
health , safety and welfare shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval .
