AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 6 , SECTION II ( B ) OF��LPpNDT}�
A TO THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO CLARIFY THE CITY ' S
ZONING REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE SALES
OFFICES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
V Section 1 . That Article 6 , Section II ( B) of Appendix A
to the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by
changing the use " Real estate sales office " under "Temporary
Facilities " to read as follows :
Real estate sales office located at a specific location
in an undeveloped or partially developed subdivision
and operated for the purpose of developing said sub -
division .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the City ' s zoning regulations applicable to temporary real
estate sales offices do not adequately regulate such offices ;
that adequate regulation of temporary real estate sales offices
is necessary for the public welfare ; and that the passage of
this ordinance is necessary to adequately regulate temporary
real estate sales offices . Therefore , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist , and this ordinance being necessary for the
public health , safety and welfare shall be in full force and
effect immediately after its passage and approval .
