AN ORDINANCE REZONING THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN REZONING
PETITION NO . R78 - 20 FOR A PARCEL CONTAINING 1 . 88 ACRES LOCATED
ON THE WEST SIDE OF GREGG AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET SOUTH OF
CENTER STREET .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the zone classification of the following
described property is hereby changed as follows :
R78 - 20 - described as follows : Part of Lots 2 and 3 in the
County Court Plat of the NE 1 / 4 , SW 1 / 4 , Section 16 , T- 16 -N ,
R- 30 -W , of the 5th P . M . , City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and
being more particularly described as follows : Beginning
at a point on the 40 line 349 . 5 feet South of the
Northeast corner of the NE 1 / 4 , SW 1 / 4 , Section 16 ,
T- 16 - N , R- 30 - W of the 5th P . M . , and running West 164
feet ; thence North 10 feet ; thence West 50 feet , more
or less to the Frisco right - of -way which is 50 feet ,
from centerline of Frisco Railroad Track ; thence South
along right - of-way line , 102 . 5 feet ; thence West 30 feet
on right- of-way line ; thence South 245 feet along right -
of-way line ; thence East 243 feet , more or less to 40
line ; thence North 337 . 5 feet , to the point of beginning ,
containing 1 . 87 acres , more or less . ALSO the following
described land which is to be used for a roadway :
Beginning at a point on the 40 line 349 . 5 feet South of
the Northeast corner of the NE 1 / 4 , SW 1 / 4 , Section 16 ,
T- 16 - N , R- 30-W , of the 5th P . M . , and running West 164
feet ; thence North 10 feet ; thence East 164 feet ; thence
South 10 feet to the point of beginning , the same to
always remain open for roadway purposes .
From I- 1 , Heavy Commercial & Light Industrial District , to
R- 2 , Medium Density Residential District .
Section 2 . That the zoning district map of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas is hereby amended to reflect the zoning
change provided in Section 1 above .
