AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING
CHAPTER 17C TO REQUIRE HOT ASPHALT ROOFING CONTRACTORS TO SECURE LIABILITY
INSURANCE PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN BUSINESS IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 , That Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by
adding Chapter 17C to read as follows :
Sec . 17C-1 . It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in hot
asphalt roofing business in the City of Fayetteville without first filing
with the City Clerk a liability insurance policy to insure against any
liability for personal injury or property damage occasioned by any act or
ommission in the conduct of the hot asphalt roofing business . Said
liability insurance shall provide minimum coverage of $100 , 000 . 00 per
person and $ 300 , 000 . 00 per occurrence for personal injury and $ 300 , 000 . 00
for property damage . /�o
