AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 2395 TO CORRECT AN ERROR
IN THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY ANNEXED THEREBY ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Ordinance No . 2395 is hereby amended to
provide that the legal description of the property
annexed thereby shall read as follows :
A strip of land 50 feet in width across the SW 1 / 4 ,
NE 1 / 4 , Section 12 , described as beginning at a point
456 . 8 feet North of the Southeast Corner of said 40 acre
tract ; thence West 1300 feet to a point 20 feet East of
the West boundary of said 40 acre tract ; thence North
223 . 00 feet ; thence West 20 feet to the West Boundary
of said 40 acre tract ; thence North 50 feet ; thence East
70 feet ; thence South 223 feet ; thence East 1250 feet
to the East Boundary of said 40 acre tract ; thence South
50 feet to the place of beginning , containing 1 . 771 acres
more or less .
Also , the W 1 / 2 , W 1 / 2 , NE 1 / 4 , NW 1 / 4 , Section 12
containing 10 acres , more or less ;
Also , .the SE 1 / 4 , NW 1 / 4 , Section 12 , LESS AND EXCEPT
5 , 46 acres in the E 1 / 2 , SE 1 / 4 , NW 1 / 4 , described as
. beginning at the Southeast Corner of said 20 acre tract ;
thence blest 350. .feet ; thence North 680 feet ; thence East
350 feet` ; thence South 680 feet to the point of beginning ;
and , .also , LESS. AND EXCEPT a 165 - foot strip of land off the
West Side of said SE 1 / 4 , NW 1 / 4 , containing 5 acres , more
or Jess ; total acres. being 29 . 54 acres , more or less .
