ZONING DISTRICT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Article 5 , Section VIII ( B ) of the
Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by
adding the following :
Unit 27 - Wholesale bulk petroleum storage facilities
with underground storage tanks .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines
that the City ' s zoning ordinance does not adequately reg -
ulate the location of wholesale bulk petroleum storage
facilities with underground storage tanks ; that such reg -
ulation is necessary for the public health , safety , and
welfare ; and that the passage of this ordinance is neces -
sary to accomplish such regulation . Therefore , an emergency
is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance being neces -
sary for the public health , safety and welfare shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage .
